Meet Madeline, our Accounting Specialist for Accounts Receivable in the Finance Department—and someone who genuinely loves what she does (yes, really).

Madeline joined RHA after relocating from Long Island, New York, to North Carolina to be closer to family. She initially came on board through a temp agency and quickly proved she was here to stay, becoming a full-time employee in October. With a strong background as an A/R specialist and years of experience in the banking industry—including time with Citibank, Chase, and EAB—Madeline brings deep expertise without the part she liked least: collections calls. She’s thrilled to focus on the work she enjoys most and brings a positive, knowledgeable presence to the team every day.

Outside of work, Madeline is all about family, food, and a good book. She’s married with three grown children and is currently helping care for her energetic two-year-old grandson. A proud New Yorker at heart, she still travels back often (especially for the holidays), misses Long Island restaurants, and remains a diehard NY Jets and Yankees fan. When she’s not reading romantic fantasy novels or scouting her next favorite restaurant, you might find her dreaming about warmer weather—she’s a spring-and-summer fan who will never complain about the heat.

• Born and raised on Long Island, NY
• Has bravely tried escargot and frog legs (verdict: tastes like chicken)
• Loves reading, traveling, and great food (cooking is optional 😉)
• If she didn’t have to work, she’d volunteer in a pediatric hospital, inspired by her own childhood experience and a desire to bring comfort to others
