Leased Housing Welcomes Daineill Greir to the Team!

Daineill Greir

Leased Housing
Eligibility Manager (HCV)

Daineill (pronounced “day-kneel”) joined RHA in October with a wealth of experience in affordable housing and community services. Prior to her role here, she served as an Assistant Supervisor for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, where she was responsible for managing a range of housing programs, including Project-Based Vouchers (PBV), Special Admissions Family Mobility Records (SAFMR) implementation, and overseeing waitlists. She also gained valuable experience working with the Arc of North Carolina and Wake County Housing Authority (WCHA), where she managed all aspects of the HCV program, handled multiple types of rental assistance programs, and led emergency housing initiatives. Her broad expertise includes managing diverse waitlists, and customer service roles, including managing front desk operations. She is also well-versed in using Yardi, a system she became proficient in during her time at WCHA.

Having relocated to Raleigh just over a year ago, Daineill was drawn to the opportunity and the chance to apply her skills in a new setting. She was referred to the position by Krystal Ortiz, a colleague already working at RHA.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Daineill enjoys spending time at the beach, bowling, and taking walks in the park. She is the proud mother of a 19-year-old son and loves to unwind with activities that keep her active and connected to nature.

A self-proclaimed avocado enthusiast, Daineill enjoys adding the versatile fruit to a variety of dishes, including eggs, cheesesteaks, and buffalo chicken sandwiches. If she didn’t have to work, she’d likely spend her time exploring new places, indulging in her love for the outdoors, and trying out new recipes.

At RHA, Daineill brings a strong commitment to service and a diverse skill set that helps her thrive in her role while contributing to the success of the Housing Choice Voucher program and other housing initiatives.
